The Murders of the Grimes Sisters

Barbara and Patricia Grimes, aged 15 and 13, disappeared after attending a showing of "Love Me Tender" in Chicago on December 28, 1956. Their nude bodies were found in a ditch near a highway southwest of Chicago in January 1957. The case garnered enormous publicity partly because Elvis Presley himself made a public appeal for their safe return. Despite multiple suspects over the decades, their killer was never identified.
